Fury Academy Sessions are led by Hockey Canada Certified Skills Coach Whitney Juszkiewicz and assisted by Coach Laura Destantis (Burnaby Wildcats) and Kelsey Firkus (Fraser Valley Rush).
The Fury Academy has three divisions of development.
Our Mighty Fury Academy works with Initiation-aged players working up to full ice integration. Players learn the foundations of technical skills (skating, passing, shooting, puck control) and the introduction of full ice tactics (breakouts, zone entry, checking)
Our Intermediate Fury Academy works with players who have a foundation of technical & tactical skills. Players who are looking to improve and fix deficiencies. Many of our intermediate players have improved achieving Rep Level abilities.
Our Elite Fury Academy works to help players with any deficiencies they might have in technical or tactical skills. Players receive coaching in advanced skills helping them in overall gameplay (creating offense, defensive tactics, deception, checking)
Players will work closely with certified coaches, helping each individual learn techniques and apply them to game situations to achieve success. Coaches' feedback is continuous, and successes are celebrated! Every season is a valuable learning experience; every player strengthens their overall play!

Meet the Coach
About coach whitney
Whitney Juszkiewicz is passionate about developing and helping players of all levels to reach their potential. Whitney is a Hockey Canada Skills Coach, Women's Master Coach Developer, and High Performance 1 (HP1) certified.
Her recent achievements include coaching with Team BC and bringing them to a gold medal at the 2023 Canada Winter Games in PEI and a bronze medal at Nationals in Dawson Creek, BC. She has worked with Hockey Canada’s U18, U22 Development and Senior Women’s National Teams during their summer selection camps.
Heavily involved in the Vancouver and Lower Mainland hockey communities, Whitney leads with over 12 years of experience in coaching and coordinating athlete programs. She has coached, planned, and executed programming throughout the province, bringing her passion for the game to all she works with.
