Strengthen every aspect of your game with Fury Academy's Summer Camp programs! This year, our summer camp sessions will held in Powell River on August 18-22 at the Powell River Recreation Complex. A Fury Academy team jersey and warm-up gear are included in the program.
Led by Hockey Canada Certified Skills Coach Whitney Juskiewicz, these specialized hockey skills development programs will help players fill gaps in their skills. We have four different programs available to suit a range of ages and abilities. Each will allow athletes the opportunity to learn technical and tactical skills, teamwork and improve their overall game play.
This specialized program helps younger players build the technical skills, confidence, and foundation they need for full ice game play! Coach Whitney has years of experience assisting new players to gain the skills and confidence they need to excel.
Sessions will be 1.5 hrs, Monday to Friday @ 11:30 - 1:00 PM, August 18 - 22, 2025 at the Powell River Rec Complex
Players will receive 60 min of technical skill instruction and 30 min of Small Area Games, Friday will be a Full Ice Game.
Players will work on filling gaps in their skills, learning technical & tactical skills to improve overall gameplay. This course is fit for players who are more independent and able to start working on game play.
Sessions will be 1.5, Monday to Friday @ 9:45 - 11:45 AM.

Please note that no refunds will be given if a participant withdraws. If a player cannot participate for medical reasons and cannot cancel within 14 days of the program’s first session, we require a Doctor’s Note for a full refund.
Refunds will not be given for sessions missed during the program.

The Fury Academy summer camp has four divisions of development.
INTER Mighty Fury (U9/U11): Designed for younger players, this specialized program focuses on technical skills, building confidence and the foundation they need for full ice play!
Male Fury Academy (U12/U14): Athletes will work on filling gaps in their technical and tactical skills, ideal for players who are independent and ready to up their game play.
Elite Fury Academy (2012-2015): Players build their overall skills, while learning scoring techniques, defensive habits, checking, angling and deception.
Elite Fury Academy (2008-2012): Players will work on advanced technical and tactical skills, while practicing scoring techniques, defensive habits, checking, angling and deception.
Whitney Juszkiewicz is passionate about developing and helping players of all levels to reach their potential. Whitney is a Hockey Canada Skills Coach, Women's Master Coach Developer, and High Performance 1 (HP1) certified.
Her recent achievements include coaching with Team BC and bringing them to a gold medal at the 2023 Canada Winter Games in PEI and a bronze medal at Nationals in Dawson Creek, BC. She has worked with Hockey Canada’s U18, U22 Development and Senior Women’s National Teams during their summer selection camps.
Heavily involved in the Vancouver and Lower Mainland hockey communities, Whitney leads with over 12 years of experience in coaching and coordinating athlete programs. She has coached, planned, and executed programming throughout the province, bringing her passion for the game to all she works with.
